School's Out

Oh, I can't believe I haven't blogged in soooo looonnnnnggggg ... but maybe I can. School is out for the summer, I have one last semester for my degree, Education, capital E you noticed I'm sure. The back yard has been landscaped, the new floors are in downstairs, walls painted and backroom to be finished this weekend. The bills are high but the job's nearly done, and that's all good.

Attorney fees are skyrocketing, but it's okay so far. We're keeping up. Our daughter was sick, but she's on the mend, we're freecycling all the stuff that was downstairs that I don't want to unpack and dust again and again and again and.... But it's still all good.

All of the kids are here with us, in the City. So that's good. We have tomatos, broccoli, green beans, green peppers, watermelon, cucumbers, some herbs, artichokes (babies so far), in the raised beds and in the converted bath tub, and that's all good.

Mom was pretty sick in January and sick again this month, but she's looking good now and is getting her energy back, even won at Bingo last week and bowled a 298 on the wii ... and that's all good.

Life is normal .. the good news is ... the bad news is ... drama and peace like hte notes and the spaces between the notes ... and it's all good.

New Link

I added a new link to Rick Bentsen's blog. He's a writer, with a rather unique lifestyle which is changing, again. Now he's off to Massachusettes from Las Vegas. And, I'm writing, again. Woke up in the middle of the night inspired, wrote two long pieces. I guess I'll leave my laptop on my bed for a while.
